In 2009, Mary Welsh Schlueter created Partnership for Innovation in Education (PIE), a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. To compete in the global economy, American K-12 students must not only master critical thinking and skills, but practice “hands on” application of those concepts. Using experiential, digital, project-based and blended learning methods, we allow students to better develop STEM-based skills beyond the traditional classroom. PIE Partnerships represent a wide array of stakeholders, including community and business organizations, allowing for the development of a better-prepared digital workforce, ready for whatever challenges arise in the 21st century marketplace.
- Mayor Mark Mallory and Cincinnati City Council issued a formal proclamation praising PIE
